Neighborhood Guide

Interested in moving to Boulder County? The neighborhoods within the 6 major cities in Boulder County are each unique, offering the residents who live there something different that they enjoy.

Uniquely Nested Communities

Everyone knows how special the City of Boulder is with its hundreds of acres of open space, the University of Colorado, Pearl Street Mall, and the independent, environmental perspective on the world. There are neighborhoods north of Pearl Street such as Mapleton Hill, the Newlands and, NoBo that each has a different flare and offer something unique for its residents.

There are plenty of Boulder County neighborhoods outside the city of Boulder that are communities that support Boulder itself while maintaining a sense of independence. Each of these neighborhoods is known for its unique events and downtown environments. Lafayette and Louisville are known for their community events. Longmont is growing into a booming and independent metropolis. Erie is now getting a chance to stand on its own growth into a community that is destined to thrive with an establishing downtown and many fun events.

Can you guess what else we have just 45 minutes West into the mountains?

Our very own ski town and all-around artistic community, Nederland! Here we have an excellent ski resort, Eldora Mountain, where many of the local Boulder residents take their young children to teach them to ski. This town is also known for its hippy – dare I say crunchy mentality.

Come for a visit to collect local art, listen to local music, and even partake in the local Dead Man Fest! It’s a very unique place.
