Downtown Louisville

The only way to describe living in and around Downtown Louisville CO is to be “Living the Dream!” Why you ask? Imagine with me that you can walk to everything that you want. There is a large community park down the street which includes a splash grounds for the kids and a dog park for your pet. In that park there are community events ranging from evenings with Food Trucks to live music!

Then you walk the other direction to the ‘official’ downtown area where you can enjoy a selection of nice restaurants ranging from Italian food to breakfast food like The Huckelberry. In that same downtown area you can attend the local Downtown Louisville Street Fair, which is a massive party each Friday night through the summer and is where all of your friends gather and mingle. In the same location the next day the streets open up for the Louisville Farmer’s Market! Walk to get your farm-fresh veggies just down the street from your home.

Eclectic Downtown

And how are the neighborhoods? There are hardly any HOA’s (homeowner’s associations) so the area is eclectic and ever changing. One house on a street will be the builder original (or even a miner’s shack!) while the next house down was totally revamped and may even be worth a million bucks. Everyone embraces the ‘keep it funky’ philosophy so that the properties are full of art and beautiful designs. Of course, with all of these amenities so close at hand all of your neighbors bike everywhere. Many homes even have bike racks in the front yard for the convenience of their guests. Pair all of this with the excellent location (close to Boulder and Denver) and superior schools (BVSD in da houz!) and families are CLAMORING to get into this exclusive district.
