Anna’s Farm Neighborhood
Anna’s Farm
The community of Anna’s Farm was built on the historic homestead of Anna Waneka Thomas’ Lafayette farm. Here they build homes that are both unique and yet fit together well with one another visually. Throughout the construction process there were historic techniques used to give the homes character and charisma. Many homes have front porches with word working that reflects a time past when one would sit outside and enjoy lemonade while the hot summer days passed.
Even though each home has a historic feeling, the interiors are contemporary and built with energy efficiency in mind. They are Energy Star Certified so that they are efficient and green. Wonderland Homes is the local builder who spearheaded the construction of Anna’s Farm. They feel passionate about creating character in a home, and doing it with respect for the environment. That is one reason why they also created a variety of homes. There is something for everyone in Anna’s Farm from townhouses to duplexes and single family homes. Being green means more than just building energy efficient homes, it means building homes for everyone! For more information about Anna’s Farm see the HOA website.
