We Love Boulder at Pearl Street Mall
These days spent with Jeff and Paige singing about why we love Boulder were some of the most fun! The Dushanbe Teahouse, Boulder Creek Path and Tebo Train on Pearl Street Mall are such icons in the heart of our community. It was great to share time with friends in each of these locations. Baby Wolf was starting to get so big at this point! He was interacting and having a great time right along with us, when he wasn’t napping that is! We started at the Dushanbe Teahouse. This was great because Wolf was awake and entranced by all the colors and patterns surrounding him in the Tajikistan traditional paintings and motifs. We also had fun playing with him while seated criss-cross-applesauce at one of their kneeling tables. Everyone shared tea and cakes together while having a grand old time before heading off to the Creek Path. While Jeff and Paige were biking on the Boulder Creek Path, Leanne was walking Wolf around in the stroller rocking him to his nap. The scenes on the creek path were particularly fun because of all the people cursing by who were wondering what we were up to! The weather was beautiful that day, as you can see. It was spring and the creek was rushing with freshly melted snow. Next stop was the Pearl Street Mall and Wolf woke up for this adventure! The Tebo Train is active from spring through fall on Pearl Street Mall. Free rides are offered to children and their families. This is a fun and unique way to tour Boulder’s pedestrian mall. This was a highlight for Baby Wolf, and even for the parents, too. When Leanne was dreaming of this project she knew that this was a scene that she wanted most of all. It took some finagling and ultimately we all got our wish! Yay for Boulder!
