Foothills Animal Shelter Donation Made
The sellers of 328 West Elm Street in Louisville, Colorado wanted to help out our furry little friends. They used their non-profit donation for Foothills Animal Shelter. The shelter never turns an animal away and provides care to nearly 9,200 animals each year. Their mission is to provide the best care possible for every animal that enters their doors. Community, Adopt, Reunite and Educate (C.A.R.E) are the four key principles of their organization. Their services reach the communities of Arvada, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood, Westminster, Wheat Ridge and unincorporated Jefferson County.
They are a community resource that offers several services including, pet adoption, pet licensing, vaccinations, microchipping, affordable spaying and neutering and lost and found pets. The newer facility, opening in August of 2010, is 33,000 square feet allowing them to expand their services and improve the space for their animals. The addition of a medical suite allows them to provide more on-site care leading to and increased number of spays and neuters.
This is truly a great facility with a great mission and Mark Riemer was overjoyed to donate over $1,100 on behalf of his sellers to help out more of our furry friends!
