Join us for a Farm Dinner!
Leanne, Drew and many of your favorite TrailRidge REALTORS will be attending one or more of the farm dinners listed below. These are annual summer events that we look forward to so very much because of the atmosphere, quality of food and friends by our side.
Sunbeam Farms is such a special, local farm off of Cherryvale between Arapahoe and Baseline. The dinner is set in the farm itself under an awning to help with incliment weather, if it happens. It also helps to keep the sun off of you if its very warm. The table is always set with fresh flowers from the garden in a communal style so that you get to know your neighbors.
The food is absolutely divine! The chef uses many items from the farm itself or other local growers. You can feel assured that all of your most healthful and hopeful dreams for food preparation will be taken care of and it will all be delicious.
Here is information on how you can join in on the fun this year:

Donation Made to Friends of AirLife
The sellers of 12584 Utica St. in Willow Park, Broomfield, Colorado used their non-profit donation to give back to those that serve our community, Friends of AirLife, as well as to Leanne Goff to ease the financial burden that fighting a battle with cancer brings.
Friends of AirLife is a non-profit that supports future and current EMA and Air Medical providers through continuing education. The funds they raise each year through community events is used for EMS and Air Medical safety initiatives to provide free EMS education classes and scholarships to those individuals that have a passion and commitment to the profession of EMS. The money raised is also used to assist families of fallen heroes.
The other donation was made to Leanne Goff who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Her road to recovery includes Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments as well as visits to Duke University for additional treatments. This donation will help ease the financial burden with airplane tickets to Duke University as well as treatment bills that she is left with.

The Lafayette Farmer’s Market was in its first year being organized and hosted by the Boulder County Farmer’s Market’s organization. Because of the newness of the event, the farmers who participated understood that the crowds would hopefully be growing throughout the season and that attending might be less profitable that at other markets with a longer, proven history of success. To offset some of the risk that the farmers took on due to the newness of the Lafayette market, attendees were given the opportunity to become ‘Founding Members.’
The Founding Membership cost $50 per interested person. This money was divided among the farmers to help them meet their minimums for each night. At the end of the season, the founding members were invited to a special farm at Johnson Farms located on the outskirts of Lafayette in unincorporated Boulder County.
The farm itself was homesteaded in 1860. It originally contained about 1000 acres, many of which have been donated to Boulder County’s open space program. The current owners, Shirley and Duane are family members to the original homesteaders. The original owners were Shirley’s great grandparents. They moved to the land in 1860 and grew alfalfa, as well as ran cattle on the property.
The Johnson family is no longer farming the property themselves. Their business has transformed to become a tool sharpening business which they do throughout all of the Boulder Farmer’s Market locations. They do still have farming on the land, which is leased to individuals. They are permitted to use the tools on the farm that are owned by the Johnson family and sell the produce at the local markets.
On the evening of October 12th the Founding Members enjoyed a meal on this beautiful farm in this idyllic location. The food was catered by The Post, with many of the ingredients provided by the local farmers. It was the perfect night to meet neighbors and enjoy an open air meal while watching the sunset behind the mountains.
