Hiking Marshall Mesa Trail in Boulder Colorado
The Marshall Mesa Trail in Boulder Colorado is a great trail to hike. It is a 3.3 mile round trip with a 238 ft elevation gain. The skill level is easy for the beginners but sometimes it’s great for an experienced hiker to take an easy trail once in a while. Marshall Mesa Trail used to be just a hiking tail. But over the years they have expanded their biking routes which makes it nice for an easy bike ride on a sunny day. This trail is great if you haven’t been hiking or biking for a while; it will ease you back into the things.
There are views of the Eldorado Canyon, the Flatirons and Boulder Foothills. Animals are present so you might see mule deer, badger, borrowing owls, coyotes, ferrets, and rattlesnakes. There is a section of the trail that the bald eagles and birds make their nests each year. Dogs, horses, and bikes are allowed on this trail so bring them along and go for a ride or hike.
